I need to become familiar with complex devices and treatments such as pacemakers and cardioverter defibrillators and need to be confident running IV drugs that are potent based on my own assessment of cardiac rhythms–something I only learned the basics of in school.
It doesn’t help that this information and technology changes frequently.

Even if I’m lucky, I will not likely have access to detailed cardiac ECG and rhythm interpretation for the first 6 months of practice.
